Albany Dutchmen 14, Glens Falls Dragons 4 (Game one)

The Dutchmen scored nine of their 14 runs in the third inning to take a comfortable lead early. In that frame, Tyler Young (Lehigh) lofted a three-run home run as part of a two-hit game, while Brody Keneston (Le Moyne) had a two-run single as part of a 3-for-3 game while driving in four runs. David Silva Jr. (Ohio Dominican) had three hits as well.

Albany Dutchmen 13, Glens Falls Dragons 3 (Game two)

The Dutchmen used a consistent offensive attack in the second game of the twin bill, scoring four runs in the first inning, four in the third and three in the fifth. Danny Rogers (Rutgers) went 4-for-4 with three RBIs, while Young drove in another three runs in the game and scored himself three times.

Utica Blue Sox 4, Auburn Doubledays 1

Utica led 1-0 until the bottom of the seventh inning and scored three runs in that frame to put the game away. That inning was highlighted by an RBI single from Ryan Enos (Oswego State) and Edwin Tavarez (Felician) drawing a bases-loaded walk. Evan Esch (St. Thomas) tossed five innings of shutout ball for the Blue Sox, while Lane Little (Louisiana Monroe) threw 4 1/3 innings of relief for Auburn, giving up just one run.

Amsterdam Mohawks 10, Saugerties Stallions 3

The Mohawks scored double digit runs for a second straight night in this 2021 PGCBL championship rematch. They did it with a seven-run fourth inning that put them up 9-3. In that inning, Michael O’Shaughnessy (Davidson) delivered a two-run double and Jacob Hand (WPI) hit his first of two home runs on the night. Hunter Thomas (Rend Lake CC) also had a two-run double in that inning. Cade Bush (Florida State) went 4-for-5.

Oneonta Outlaws 4, Watertown Rapids 2

The Outlaws scored all four of their runs in the second inning and held on the rest of the way. Mario Disso (Pitt-Johnstown) doubled in that frame. Christian Coombes (St. Peter’s) threw a complete game for the Outlaws and struck out 13 hitters.

Niagara Power 13, Newark Pilots 8

Trailing 8-7 heading to the ninth inning, Niagara rallied back in a big way, scoring six runs and locking it down in the bottom half. Ken Hemmer (San Francisco) doubled in Andrew Fairbrother (Niagara CC) to tie the game and then scored on a wild pitch to give the Power the lead. Payton Eeles (Cedarville) had a two-run single in that frame as part of a 4-for-6, four RBI night. Don Goodes (Adrian) had four hits for Newark, while Thai Morgan (Emerson) drove in three runs.

Batavia Muckdogs 6, Elmira Pioneers 4

A rally from the Pioneers fell short after Batavia took a 5-0 lead into the sixth inning with two runs in the fourth and three in the fifth. In that fifth inning, Trey Bacon (Santa Fe) had a two-run single as part of a three RBI game, while Jerry Reinhart (Akron) had two hits. Joe Olsavsky (John Carroll) and JaNai Vaughan (Delaware CC) had two hits each for Elmira.

The game between the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs and Boonville Baseball Club was postponed and will be made up at a later date.
