Seven games were completed on Saturday, June 17, including a doubleheader between Batavia and Auburn. The second half of the doubleheader between Utica and Albany was postponed, along with the scheduled matchup between Glens Falls and Oneonta.
Niagara Power 11, Geneva Red Wings 0
With the help of a seven-run inning in the bottom of the second, the Power (7-2-1) claimed a shutout victory over the visiting Red Wings (3-6) in seven innings.
Niagara second baseman Billy Morris (D’Youville), third baseman Vincent Mauro (Niagara) and center fielder Brett Johnson (Niagara County) each delivered two RBI during the victory. Right fielder Jackson Strong (Canisius) recorded two extra-base hits, including his third triple of the season.
Niagara starting pitcher Tommy Peltier (Canisius) conceded just one hit, one walk and zero runs with nine strikeouts in 6.0 innings of work to earn the win.

Game 1 – The Muckdogs scored two runs in the top of the seventh via an RBI triple from center fielder Anthony Calabro (West Georgia) and a sacrifice fly from catcher Adam Agresti (St. John’s).
The Muckdogs broke the 0-0 tie in the top of the fifth on an RBI triple from James Aselta (Lafayette).
Batavia starting pitcher Jack Keeler (Fort Lauderdale) earned the win after completing 6.0 innings of work with just one run allowed, then right-hander Trey Bacon (Santa Fe) got the final three outs to earn his fourth save of the season in as many appearances.
Game 2 – Auburn left-hander Cooper Polcovich (WVU Potomac State) delivered a complete-game shutout with just three hits and one walk allowed with three strikeouts in 7.0 innings of work to earn his first win of the season.
Auburn broke the 0-0 tie in the bottom of the second on an RBI single from Christian Bauman (Brookdale).
Utica Blue Sox 7, Albany Dutchmen 3
The Blue Sox (5-7) scored five runs in the top of the first inning on their way to a 7-3 victory over the Dutchmen (5-7).
Utica first baseman Will Shannon (Hillsdale) recorded two hits, a run, and a game-high three RBI during the win, including a two-run double in the opening frame.
Third baseman Brody Keneston (Le Moyne) recorded a team-high two RBI for the Dutchmen during the setback.
Utica starting pitcher Jordan Savinon (Felician) recorded the win after allowing two hits, two walks and zero runs with two strikeouts during the first 2.0 innings.
Right-hander Trey Sejnoha (St. Thomas) got the final four outs to earn the save for the Blue Sox.
Amsterdam Mohawks 6, Watertown Rapids 2
In his third start of the campaign, Amsterdam left-handed pitcher Tyler Sausville (New Haven) improved his record to 3-0 on Saturday after allowing just one hit, one walk and zero runs with seven strikeouts through 6.0 innings of work.
Five different players drove in a run for the Mohawks, while third baseman Cam Gurney (Utah) delivered a game-high three hits and a walk with a run scored.
Elmira Pioneers 12, Newark Pilots 0
The Pioneers (7-4) defeated the Pilots (1-10) via run rule in seven innings. Elmira scored six runs in the fourth, two in the fifth and three in the sixth.
Elmira starting pitcher Devin Murray (Hillsdale) was credited with the win after limiting the visitors to five hits, one walk and zero runs with 10 strikeouts in 6.0 innings of work.
Extra hitter Frank Wayman (UMass Lowell) tallied a game-high three RBI for the Pioneers via a three-run double in the bottom of the fourth.
Elmira left fielder Matt Granato (St. Thomas) recorded two hits, two walks, two RBI and two runs scored during the victory.
Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs 6, Boonville Lumberjacks 4
The DiamondDawgs scored two runs in the top of the ninth to secure their eighth consecutive victory.
Third baseman Sam Miller (Columbia) drove in the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth and finished the game with two hits and two RBI. Catcher Mitch Balint (Carson-Newman) recorded two hits, two RBI and three runs scored for Mohawk Valley during the victory. Balint launched a two-run home run during the top of the first to break the 0-0 tie.
Left-handed relief pitcher Matt Alduino (Quinnipiac) was credited with the win for Mohawk Valley after throwing 3.0 scoreless innings with five strikeouts.
