Here’s how these teams faired with six games on the docket across the league.

Jamestown Tarp Skunks 17, Niagara Power 7

Niagara carried a one-run lead into the seventh inning, where a Mark Tucker (North Georgia) RBI double started a six-run inning for the Tarp Skunks. Jamestown added another in the eighth and seven in the ninth to pull out their win. Jamestown’s Trey Zeroski (Gannon) went three for five, while Tucker and Nate Johnson (Jamestown CC) led the team in RBIs.

Utica Blue Sox 14, Boonville Baseball Club 1

Utica scored nine runs in the opening frame, including a home run by Lukas Schramm (Kentucky). The lone run for Boonville was scored by AJ Pabst. Brandon Peterson allowed only two hits over five innings to receive the winning decision.

Glens Falls Dragons 2, Amsterdam Mohawks 22

Home runs by Michael OShaunessy (Davidson) and Gage Miller (Bishop State CC) highlighted the first two innings of play, where Amsterdam scored eleven runs. Cade Bush (Florida State) led the Mohawks’ offense, going three for five and driving in five runs. Dragon Kyle Zaslaw (Union) went three for three.

Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs 1, Albany Dutchmen 3

In the bottom of the third, Tyler Young’s (Lehigh) 2-RBI double led to an RBI single by Nick Schwartz (Southern New Hampshire), giving the Dutchmen a three-run lead. That was enough for Albany after their starter Frankie Sanchez (Southern New Hampshire) and Scott Griesemer (North Florida) threw seven innings of no-hit baseball. The no-hitter was broken up by an Orlando Pena (Coastal Carolina) eighth-inning single.

Saugerties Stallions 5, Oneonta Outlaws 2

A sacrifice fly by Jake Skrine (Indiana) gave Saugerties a lead they wouldn’t lose. David Shackelford (Arizona) starred, going two for two with two walks and an RBI. James Reilly threw six scoreless innings and struck out eight for the Stallions.

Newark Pilots 2, Auburn DoubleDays 0

The game was decided by Hazel Martinez’s (Cayuga CC) RBI double in the fourth inning, which scored two. Pilots starter Justin Santos (Redlands CC) pitched the first eight innings before Angelo Deer (Stockton) entered for the save.
