Niagara’s Billy Morris (D’Youville) has been selected as the West Division Player of the Week. Morris showed off his two-way skills during Week 6 to earn this honor.

His big day at the plate came on July 6, when he had two this and five RBI in the win over Jamestown. He finished the week with a .308 batting average and six RBI. On July 8, he dominated on the mound, pitching seven shutout innings in a win over Newark, striking out seven.

Pilots pitcher Jack Gannon has been chosen as the West Division Pitcher of the Week thanks to his no-hit effort over Geneva.

On July 5, Gannon threw the first no-hitter this season while striking out seven Red Wings. The Pilots only scored one run in that game, making the dominant pitching performance even more valuable.
