Watertown Rapids outfielder Jax Miller (Walsh University) has been chosen as the East Division Player of the Week. He batted an impressive .615 over the week, and led all players with nine RBI.

His big performance came on July 16 against the Lumberjacks, when he had one of the best performances of any player this season. In the 16-6 victory, Miller put up an impressive four hits and tallied seven RBIs to give the Rapids the big win.

Albany’s CJ Kuentzel (Iona University) has been chosen as one of the Co-Pitchers of the Week in the East. During the span, he pitched seven scoreless innings, striking out five, with a WHIP of 0.57.

This included a scoreless one-inning relief appearance against Saugerties back on July 12 in the one-run win, as well as a start against Oneonta. On July 15, Kuentzel picked up the win against the Outlaws, going six innings.

Boonville’s Eli Snelson (Union University) has also been chosen as an Eastern Co-Pitcher of the Week. Snelson pitched an eight inning start back on July 11, allowing just one earned run and striking out four in the win over Glens Falls.

The win was his first of the season, and got him back on track on the mound as a valuable two-way player for the Lumberjacks.
