Saugerties Stallions’ outfielder and incoming LSU freshman takes home the 2021 PGCBL Playoff Series Most Valuable Player award.

Josh started off strong in the semifinal matchup versus the Geneva Red Wings with some solid defensive plays and hitting .600 with one run scored, one homerun, and three RBIs. He followed up that performance with a double and a run scored in game one of the championship series versus Amsterdam.

However, it was his performance in game two that solidified him as the Playoff MVP. Josh’s second inning grand slam gave the Stallions the lead advantage that they would continue to hold for the rest of the game. He finished the night hitting .333 with two runs scored, one home run, and four RBIs.

Josh ended the 2021 PGCBL Playoffs batting .400 with four runs scored, one double, two home runs, and seven RBIs.
