Boonville, NY: The Boonville Lumberjacks continue to make a splash after recently being acquired by a new ownership group and going through a rebrand. With that said, the Lumberjacks have recently hired Jayson O’Connell their new Director of Communications.
Jayson is from Burlington, N.J. and is graduating from Penn State in May. He has gained experience broadcasting sports through the school’s student-ran radio station, CommRadio. Last summer he was a broadcasting intern with the Trenton Generals and South Jersey Kings in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League. With the Lumberjacks, Jayson will broadcast games, conduct player and coach interviews and complete other tasks to produce content for the team.
