The Doubledays and Red Wings met at McDonough Park in a game which turned out to be a pitcher’s duel. Nicholas Thompson (Colby) pitched six hitless innings for Geneva, while Ryan Bailey (Alfred State) pitched six shutout innings in their starts. It took the 9th inning for Auburn to crack the scoreboard on a bases loaded walk to bring home the first and second run for the Doubledays.
