The Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) is proud to announce the full schedule for the upcoming 2024 season.
Each of the PGCBL’s 16 teams will play a 46-game schedule. The regular season kicks off on Thursday, May 30th and concludes on Sunday, July 28th. Post season play will begin Monday, July 29th.
The season will begin with the first league matchup on Thursday, May 30th, as the Batavia Muckdogs will travel to the Jamestown Tarp Skunks to kick off league play. League action picks up on Friday, May 31st with 10 teams competing, before all 16 teams take the field on Saturday, June 1st.
The East & West Divisions will remain identical to 2023, with the only exception being the replacement of the Niagara Power with the newly formed Niagara Falls Americans. Teams will play intra-divisional schedules throughout the season. The divisional breakdown is as follows:
East Division – Albany Dutchmen, Amsterdam Mohawks, Boonville Lumberjacks, Glens Falls Dragons, Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs, Oneonta Outlaws, Saugerties Stallions, Utica Blue Sox, Watertown Rapids
West Division – Auburn Doubledays, Batavia Muckdogs, Elmira Pioneers, Geneva Red Wings, Jamestown Tarp Skunks, Newark Pilots, Niagara Falls Americans
The 2024 playoff format will look familiar from the 2023 season, as 10 teams will make the PGCBL Playoffs. The top six teams from the nine member East Division and top four teams from the seven member West Division will qualify. The first round starts Monday, July 29th as follows:

East Division Quarter-Finals (1 game playoff)
6th seed at 3rd seed
5th seed at 4th seed
West Division Semi-Finals (1 game playoff)
4th seed at 1st seed
3rd seed at 2nd seed
Tuesday, July 30th
East Division Semi-Finals (1 game playoff)
Lowest remaining seed at 1st seed
Highest remaining seed at 2nd seed
West Division Finals (1 game playoff)
Lowest remaining seed at highest remaining seed
Wednesday, July 31st
East Division Finals (1 game playoff)
Lowest remaining seed at highest remaining seed
Thursday, August 1st – PGCBL Championship
Best of 3 game series between East & West Division winners. Locations and dates to be determined by participating teams and the league office.
