Five Different PGCBL Teams Boast Week 6 Award Winners
East Division

Player of the Week: Nolan Stark, Oneonta (UNC Wilmington)
Utica's Drake Aycock earned his first win and first save of the season this past week as he made 3 scoreless appearances out of the bullpen. On Tuesday he earned the save in a 9-7 win over the Boonville Lumberjacks as he pitched 2.2 scoreless innings allowing 2 hits and 2 walks while recording 6 strikeouts. On Friday, he entered the game in the midst of a 6-run inning for Mohawk Valley and put the fire out as 1.2 scoreless innings as the Blue Sox came back for a 15-8 victory. On Sunday, Aycock pitched a scoreless seventh and eighth innings with 2 hits, no walks and 1 strikeout as the Blue Sox rallied for 5 runs in the final 2 innings for a 9-5 win.
Amsterdam's Saxon Roberts had a win and a 1.29 ERA in 7 innings pitched with 10 strikeouts. On Tuesday he started against Saugerties and pitched 3 scoreless innings allowing 1 hit and 2 walks with 3 strikeouts. Roberts started again on Saturday and pitched 4 innings against the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs and got the win going 4 innings allowing 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 7 in a 17-3 win for the Mohawks.
Oneonta's own Nolan Stark had a .500 batting average this past week going 7-for-14 with 3 home runs, 2 triples, 11 RBI and 6 runs scored. The Outlaws played just 3 games this past week, but Stark was the spark to ignite his team's offense. On Wednesday, he had 2 hits, including a triple, and 2 RBI in a 10-3 win over the Blue Sox. On Thursday, Stark hit 2 home runs and collected 5 RBI, and on Saturday he went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple and 4 RBI in a 22-1 win over Boonville.
West Division
Pitcher of the Week: Camp Churchill, Jamestown (McMurry University)
Player of the Week: Caleb Delaney, Elmira (Rowan College)
Camp Churchill pitched a complete game shutout for the Jamestown Tarp Skunks in a 9-0 victory over the Geneva Red Wings on Saturday. He allowed just 3 singles and 2 walks in the 9 innings while striking out 4. Only one base runner reached second base the entire game off Churchill and that only occurred due to an error. He also retired the side in order in 5 of those 9 innings.
Elmira's Caleb Delaney recorded 14 hits in 21 at-bats this week, good for a .667 batting average as the Pios went 4-2 this past week. Delaney recorded hits in all 6 games and had 4 multi-hit games with 7 RBI, 10 runs scored and 3 stolen bases. He had two 3-hit games this past week against Newark and Niagara Falls and had a 4-hit game on Friday against Olean. His best performance came on Thursday in a 23-0 win over Newark, when Delaney went 3-for-4 and drove in 5 runs.
