With the 2023 PGCBL regular season concluding on Saturday, it’s important to know the dates and format for this year’s playoffs. Last year, the Amsterdam Mohawks defeated the Batavia Muckdogs to claim the title, but who will come out on top in 2023?

In the East, six teams will make the playoffs, with the 3-6 seeds playing in a quarter-finals. The highest seed to make it from those four will then play the East’s 2 seed in the Semi-Finals, while the other team to make it from those four will play the East’s 1 seed. The winner of those two matchups will then face off in the East Division Finals for a chance to play in the PGCBL Championship.

In the West, only the top four teams will make the playoffs, and the Semi-Finals will work with basic 1 seed vs. 4 seed and 2 seed vs. 3 seed matchups. The winner of those two games will then advance to the West Division Finals, and the winner of that will face the East Division champ in the PGCBL Championship.
