ONEONTA, N.Y. –  For the third time this season, the Saugerties Stallions have defeated the Oneonta Outlaws with the most recent victory coming on Friday.

Unlike the prior two occasions, the Stallions had to travel to Oneonta to get the win which also ended a three game losing streak.

The Stallions were able to score four runs for starting pitcher Bryan Boully with two of them coming off the bat of Easton Bertrand who roped a double in the third.

Boully pitched four scoreless innings to extend his scoreless streak up to seven innings which spans over his last two starts.

Once Boully was taken out, the bullpen was able to back him up as Mason Speaker threw two scoreless innings while Bryce Reimer threw three innings and allowed one run off of a sacrifice fly in the eighth to preserve the win.

The Stallion offense was also able to score two more runs in the sixth inning with one coming off an error from the Outlaw defense and the other off an RBI triple from Jahlani Rogers.

Saugerties moves up to 8-9 on the season and are tied for third place in the East division.

The Stallions will return home to take on the Albany Dutchmen who sit in second in the division.

That game will start at 7:05 p.m. and the action will be followed up by fireworks at Cantine Field.
