ELMIRA, N.Y. - Four-time All-Star pitcher Tommy John, who won 288 games in the major leagues and had baseball's highest-profile surgery named after him, will be the special guest at the third annual Elmira Pioneers Hot Stove Dinner.

The event will take place April 20 at the Holiday Inn-Riverview in Elmira, the Pioneers announced Tuesday at the Holiday Inn. A VIP meet-and-greet with John will begin at 5:30 p.m., with that ticket including a Tommy John item for him to autograph, along with personalized photo opportunities with him.

A dinner will start at 6:30 p.m., with John speaking and participating in a question-and-answer session at the end. A live auction featuring memorabilia from John and other items will follow.
