Elmira Pioneers Sign Two Ole Miss University Players

ELMIRA, N.Y. (18 SPORTS) - Two standout Ole Miss freshman, outfielder Bryan Seamster and pitcher Houston Roth, have signed with Elmira from Ole Miss for this summer.

Both players are high school All-Americans and will bring a wealth of talent to the PGCBL (Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League).  Seamster is a honorable mention All-American and first team Texas All-Region player out of Byron Nelson High School. Seamster will be playing center field and is hitting .286 with a home run in 15 games for Ole Miss.

Roth, who stands 6'3, is a big right handed pitcher at 205-pounds and was an All-American by Collegiate Baseball out of Oxford High School in Mississippi. Roth was an astounding (34-2) throughout his high school career and had a 281 career strikeouts. In 11 innings of work this season at Ole Miss, Roth has 20 strikeouts with a 1.64 ERA and is expected to be a starter this season.
