The first game of the doubleheader will pick up in the bottom of the eighth inning, with Geneva leading 8-1 as the home team. That game was suspended due to darkness on Monday night, and will be followed by the regularly scheduled contest. On the season, the Red Wings lead the Pioneers, 4-3. Utica Blue Sox at Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs With three teams within 1.5 games of the top spot, the PGCBL Central has developed into the league's most competitive divisional race. Mohawk Valley leads both Utica and Watertown by 1.5 games, with all three teams holding 20 wins or more. Each of the last two games between the Rapids and the Blazers have been high-scoring, with 51 runs scored in the two games combined (a 13-10 Adirondack win and a 15-13 Watertown win). |
