After only giving up two runs the night was over for Dan Black (VCU) after five innings. Black struck out two of his nineteen batters and only gave up four hits. Anthony Ciango (Northern Illinios) came into relief in the seventh inning after black and Austin Hill (Corning C.C.) kept a 4-2 lead, but was unable to protect the lead as he gave up three earned runs.
