The Canisius College product is the second former Wizard to be signed by the Arizona Diamondbacks. Current Arizona farm hand John Pedrotty, who spent last season with the Midwest League’s South Bend Silver Hawks, pitched for the Wizards in 2009. Pedrotty was taken by Arizona in the 13th round (394th overall) of the 2011 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft out of Holy Cross.
