PGCBL Develops Future Stars Off the Field Too...

The teams in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League develop young talent on the diamond and in the office.  Over the last several years PGCBL-trained interns have accepted sports management and marketing positions throughout the country.  Here are some of our success stories.

Nate March (Amsterdam Mohawks) graduated from Ithaca College and is now working as the Coordinator of Communications & Radio Broadcaster for the Florida State League's Bradenton Maurauders, the Advanced-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Jake Weinstein (Elmira Pioneers) graduated from Ohio University and is currently working as a Marketing Assistant at St. John's University.
Seth Dewitt (Glens Falls Golden Eagles) graduated from Western New England College and is currently the Merchandise Manager for the Adirondack Phantoms of the American Hockey League.
Tristan Hobbes (Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs) graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University and is currently the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Bryant University.
Brian Connell (Newark Pilots) graduated from SUNY Cortland and is currently the Assistant General Manager of the Newark Pilots
Jeffrey Dickson (Oneonta Outlaws) graduated from the University of Central Florida and is currently the Director of Food & Beverage for the South Atlantic League's Hickory Crawdads, the Class-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Justin Lutes (Watertown Wizards) graduated from St. John Fisher College and is currently the Assistant Sports Information Director at the Stevens Institute of Technology.
"I have had the good fortune to work with a number of truly talented young people on and off the field.  Some have moved on to great careers in sports.  I look at each of our interns and realize that we not only have potential Major League GM's working for us but, all types of business leaders.", stated PGCBL President Jeff Kunion.
The Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League, located in upstate New York, plays a 48-game schedule in June, July and August.  Individuals looking for valuable work experience that will help shape their future careers in sports management, sports media or sports broadcasting should contact the league office to discuss opportunities with the PGCBL or any of its teams.
