Throughout the season, the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League will be recognizing a Player and Pitcher of the Night on each game day.

Player of the Night: Ben Livorsi, Jamestown (St. Louis)

Ben Livorsi came up huge for the Jamestown Jammers on Saturday night, belting two home runs, including the game-winner, in an 11-10 Jamestown victory over the Adirondack Trail Blazers. The St. Louis Billiken reached base four times in the win, and all three of his hits went for extra base as he went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and four runs batted in. Livorsi hit his first home run of the day in the fifth inning, a two-run shot, and added a double in the seventh. His biggest hit of the day came in the top of the ninth, when the catcher drilled a two-run shot to give Jamestown the 11-10 lead that would hold up as the final score.

Pitcher of the Night: Zane Stephens, Amsterdam (Mississippi State)

Zane Stephens worked a complete game shutout for the Amsterdam Mohawks, tossing six innings in a shortened victory over the Albany Dutchmen. Stephens allowed just three hits to a potent Dutchmen lineup, and recorded eight of his 18 outs via strikeout. The Mississippi State Bulldog earned the complete game when the contest was shortened following an injury to an Amsterdam player. On the season, Stephens holds a 3-0 record for the Mohawks, and has posted a 1.80 ERA. In 30 innings on the mound, the righthander has struck out 32 hitters, while allowing only 20 hits and 13 walks.
