RailRiders can't stop Jamestown

The Victor RailRiders (9-9) were unable to slow down the Jamestown Jammers (8-9) offense as they lost 9-6 at Victor High School on Monday.
Ben Brookover had two extra base hits for the Jammers, finishing the day 3-5 with 2 RBI.  Clay Payne, Skyler Valentine, and Scott Braren also turned in solid performances at the plate, combining for nine hits and seven RBIs.
The RailRiders offense managed 11 hits in the loss.  They were led by Nick Russo as he went 2-4, driving in a run and scoring a run.  Landon Powell also added two hits.
Steve Simmons pitched 3.2 innings in relief for the Jammers and recorded his first win of the season.  He allowed no runs, one hit, and struck out three.  Luke Tomczyk (0-1) took the loss for the RailRiders.  He pitched 2 2/3 innings, walking four, and allowing five runs.
