Sunday's Scheduled Games

Amsterdam Mohawks at Albany Dutchmen
Connors Park - DH - 3:00 PM

Fresh off a doubleheader sweep of the Oneonta Outlaws, the Albany Dutchmen will look to solve the riddle that has been the Amsterdam Mohawks. The Mohawks are 4-0 this season against the Dutchmen, winning three of the four contests by four or more runs. Sunday's doubleheader marks the first two games of four contests between the teams in the coming week. On the mound, Albany will send Matt Pierce (Siena) to the mound in game one, and will follow with Max Cioffi (Ole Miss) in the nightcap.

Elmira Pioneers at Jamestown Jammers
Diethrick Park - 3:05 PM

The Elmira Pioneers have played their best baseball of the season as of late, winning four consecutive games to move into second place in the PGCBL. For that streak to continue, the Pioneers will need to snap a four-game losing skid to the Jamestown Jammers, who have not lost to Elmira at Diethrick Park in four tries this season. Jamestown will send Isaiah Moten (Cal State Bakersfield) to the mound on Sunday for his sixth start of the season. Moten allowed just one run in seven innings against Elmira on June 8, a 2-1 Jamestown win.

Newark Pilots at Watertown Rapids
Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds - 5:05 PM

At the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds, the Watertown Rapids will attempt to snap a six game losing streak that has seen the team fall into a tie for second place in the PGCBL Central. The Sunday contest sees Watertown welcome the Newark Pilots, owner of the league's lowest winning percentage, to town. The game is the first of a home-and-home series, with the stage shifting to Colburn Park on Monday night. Watertown won the first game between the teams this season, a 9-3 decision at home on June 7.

Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs at Adirondack Trail Blazers
Robert Smith Sports Complex - 7:05 PM

Thanks to a run of five victories in their last six games, the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs have surged into first place in the PGCBL Central. The Dawgs, who head to Boonville on Sunday night, have controlled the season series with the Trail Blazers, winning four of the five contests. Aaron Glickstein (Stony Brook), who has already started twice against Adirondack this season, will make his seventh start of the season at the Robert Smith Sports Complex.

Oneonta Outlaws at Glens Falls Dragons
East Field - 7:05 PM

A pair of skidding PGCBL teams meet up at East Field looking to right the ship and remain in playoff contention. The Dragons have lost nine of their last ten games, while Oneonta has lost eight games in a row, which ties them for the longest PGCBL losing streak this season. The Outlaws are 3-1 against the Dragons this season, including a doubleheader sweep at East Field back on June 29. Brandon Abdul (Goldey-Beacom) is getting the baseball for the Dragons, making his second start of the season.
