Tuesday's Scheduled Games
Albany Dutchmen at Utica Blue Sox
Murnane Field - 6:35 PM
The first place Albany Dutchmen make their first and only trip to Murnane Field this season for a meeting with the Utica Blue Sox. Both teams had Monday off, as the Blue Sox look to get back to .500 and the Dutchmen, who will send University of Tampa product Deaven Phillips to the mound, attempt to stay atop the PGCBL East. Utica's return trip to Connors Park is scheduled for July 21 on the final Friday of the regular season.
Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs at Amsterdam Mohawks
Shuttleworth Park - 6:45 PM
Perhaps the fiercest rivalry in the PGCBL is renewed on Tuesday night at Shuttleworth Park. Either the Mohawks or the DiamondDawgs have won the PGCBL title in each of the past six season. It is the only meeting between the rivals in Amsterdam this season, with the only game in Little Falls coming on July 15. The Mohawks, who have not lost yet this season when playing at home, will call upon Manhattan Jasper Teddy Sabato to start on the hill.
Watertown Rapids at Geneva Red Wings
McDonough Park - 7:05 PM
Two teams with winning records who currently sit in a playoff position will meet at McDonough Park on Tuesday night. Watertown won the first meeting between the teams on Monday, topping the Red Wings at home, 6-3. It is the second of five meetings between the teams this season. The Rapids, who hold the second best recond in the PGCBL and lead the Central Division, are scheduled to have Tony Rivera (Felician) make the start.
Glens Falls Dragons at Adirondack Trail Blazers
Robert Smith Sports Complex - 7:05 PM
Two nights after ending their season opening eight game losing streak, the Adirondack Trail Blazers will look to make it two in a row against Glens Falls. Adirondack and Glens Falls are scheduled to play three times this season, with Tuesday's game the only one to be played in Boonville. The Dragons will send righthander Tom Taplin (Georgetown College) to the mound, while the Blazers will counter with Brett Lubreski (NJIT).
