The Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League is pleased to announce the launch of its redesigned website.
The new pgcbl.com, made in collaboration with Infinity Sports & Entertainment, features many of the same features of the old website but has added a number of easily-accessible tools to help baseball fans become better informed about one of the leading summer collegiate baseball leagues in the country.
“We are very excited about our new web site. It provides our fans with more information, stats and videos of the PGCBL,” said PGCBL President Jeff Kunion. “And, they are easier to get to. We think the design just pops out at you.”
The sections of the website are more clear with the redesign, allowing fans to get more out of their visit. The homepage of the site now features the league’s batting leaders and pitching leaders, something that used to take fans multiple steps to access. The standings section is more clear-cut and understandable.
One of the new features of the redesigned website is a “Feature of the Week” section. This part of the website will now showcase a story that provides a deeper look at a PGCBL player or team.
Said Uri Geva, the CEO of Infinity Sports & Entertainment: “The best Summer Collegiate Leagues in the country utilize Infinity Sports & Entertainment for their website design, and the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League's partnership with Infinity is part of that elite group. We are truly thankful for their continued vision and understanding of the importance of the digital space. Infinity is proud to launch this latest creation and look forward to a great fall of player signings in the league.”
The league is also putting a stronger emphasis on video and the new website reflects that. The video section of the home page is bigger and will be rotated consistently, giving fans more of a multimedia approach to the PGCBL.
The old website was launched during the PGCBL's inception. The content from the old website is still accessible through the new site, so history won't be lost.
The PGCBL is affiliated with Perfect Game, the largest independent scouting service in the country. Last year, more than 1,400 professional players had either worn the uniform of a PGCBL team or participated in a Perfect Game event.
