A Gage West RBI single in the second extended the lead to 2-0 before Saugerties got on the board in the home half of the inning on a Charlie Fina RBI groundout. The previous PGCBL wins record was set by the Mohawks last year.

The Dutchmen scored the first two runs of the game in the bottom of the third on a Zach Remillard RBI double and a Michael Fitzsimmons RBI single. Another Albany run came around to score in the fourth on a Tom Moore RBI single. Albany got one of the runs back in the home half of the inning on a Bollmer sacrifice fly. The final Dragons run of the game came in the top of the seventh on a Donovan Christman RBI triple. The Dutchmen promptly responded with nine runs.

The nine runs came around to score on a bases loaded walk, a sacrifice fly, an RBI fielder’s choice, a Bollmer RBI single, a Hunter Boose RBI single, a bases loaded hit by pitch, a Lewis two-RBI single and another sacrifice fly.

Brandon Nylin allowed three runs in five innings of work while registering seven strikeouts to get the win for the Dutchmen and Jake Welch came on with a three run lead and finished the game to preserve the save.
