The Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League has announced that Christian Santisteban (Elmira) has been named the Player of the Week for the second time this season and Zach Crim (Adirondack) has been named Pitcher of the Week for the week covering June 15 to June 21.

Santisteban, who attends Manhattan College, hit .450—tied for the league lead—over the past seven days with a home run and three RBIs. He scored 10 runs during the stretch and also stole a base. His on-base percentage of .577 was tops in the league for the week.

On the season, Santisteban is hitting a league-leading .482 with two home runs and 16 RBIs, which are also tops in the league. He’s stolen two bases and his 1.322 OPS is again tops in the PGCBL. His 22.94 Runs Created are eight more than the next highest player in the league.

This year at Manhattan, Santisteban hit .301 in 50 games (49 starts) with 28 RBIs and two home runs. The Miami, Florida-native also spent the 2014 summer with Elmira. In 43 games, the PGCBL All-Star hit .299 with three home runs and 33 RBIs.

Zach Crim, who attends Chestnut Hill College, becomes the first pitcher this season to be named the only Pitcher of the Week after Week One saw four winners and Week Two saw a pair.

Crim wins the award after tossing eight scoreless innings on Friday in a 6-0 win over the Utica Brewers. Crim struck out eight batters and allowed just one hit in the start.

The Horsham, Pennsylvania-native is now 2-0 on the summer with a 2.34 ERA in four appearances, two being starts. He has struck out 15 batters, compared to 12 hits allowed.

At Chestnut Hill this year, Crim went 3-3 in 10 appearances (eight starts). He posted a 3.71 ERA and struck out nearly twice as many batters as he walked. Opponents hit just .235 off him and his 10 innings pitched on April 25 was a season high for the Griffins.
