The 2011 Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League Championship Series is scheduled to begin tonight at Colburn Park in Newark, N.Y., when the Newark Pilots host the Amsterdam Mohawks. First pitch in Game 1 of the best-of-three series is scheduled to take place at 7:05 p.m.
The series shifts to Amsterdam's Shuttleworth Park on Thurs., Aug. 11 for Game 2 and possibly Game 3. The second game of the series is scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. first pitch. A third game, if necessary, would follow Game 2. Both games as per PGCBL bylaws would consist of nine innings.
