After their victory over the Elmira Pioneers on Sunday, the Jamestown Jammers became the first team in the PGCBL to 20 wins. With a league-best 20-7 record, the Jammers head to McDonough Park for a doubleheader with the Geneva Red Wings. The Red Wings currently sit a half game behind the Elmira Pioneers for second place in the PGCBL West. Jamestown has controlled the season series with four consecutive victories, with only one coming in Geneva.
Elmira Pioneers at Utica Blue Sox

Two teams battling for a spot in the PGCBL Playoffs in seperate divisions face off in Utica for the second time this season. The Pioneers hold a half game lead for second place in the PGCBL West, while Utica is a half game behind Watertown for the second spot in the Central Division.The Blue Sox rolled the Pioneers at Dunn Field on June 23, claiming a 12-5 victory. Albany Dutchmen at Glens Falls Dragons

Thanks to a doubleheader sweep of the Amsterdam Mohawks, the Dutchmen moved back into second place in the PGCBL East. Albany will now head to East Field in Glens Falls to face the Dragons. The Dutchmen hold a 3-2 series lead this season, winning 7-6 at Connors Park on June 30 in the most recent meeting. The pitching matchup will see Albany's Stephen Koza (LSU Eunice) face off with Glens Falls' Tom Taplin (Georgetown College), who is looking for his first win in five starts this season.

The Oneonta Outlaws will look to snap the longest losing streak in the PGCBL this season on Monday night, playing at home against the Amsterdam Mohawks. The Outlaws have lost nine consecutive games, last winning in a doubleheader against Glens Falls on June 29. Amsterdam will send Trip Lockhart (Kentucky) to the mound, while the Outlaws will counter with Trevor Backman (Marist). Lockhart has a 1.00 ERA in 18 innings this season, while Backman boasts a 2-1 record.
Adirondack Trail Blazers at Saugerties Stallions

The first place Saugerties Stallions welcome the fourth place Adirondack Trail Blazers to the confines of Cantine Field. Saugerties holds the longest winning streak in the league, winning five consecutive games to surge into first, while the Blazers have moved within four games of second place after a slow start to the season. Adirondack won the first game between the teams this season, dominating the Stallions en route to a 14-1 victory at the Robert Smith Sports Complex.
