One night after Mohawk Valley rallied from a seven-run deficit to win a 19-15 slugfest in extra innings in Boonville, the setting shifts to Veterans Memorial Park. After Thursday night's win, the DiamondDawgs now hold a 4-0 lead in the season series despite only playing one game at home. A pair of pitchers with 0-1 records on the season will start in Little Falls, as Mohawk Valley's Sam Turcotte (Stony Brook) will oppose Adirondack's Jack Wallace (Franklin Pierce).
Oneonta Outlaws at Amsterdam Mohawks
Shuttleworth Park - 6:45 PM
The Amsterdam Mohawks and the Oneonta Outlaws will meet for the first time this season on Friday night in Amsterdam. The East Division series will be played nine times this season, including four games in the next ten days. Amsterdam is sending arguably the league's most dominant pitcher thus far, Peyton Plumlee (Mississippi State) to the mound, while Oneonta is starting Will Van Beusekom (Marist).
Albany Dutchmen at Glens Falls Dragons
East Field - 7:05 PM
A rivalry that has been dominated by the visiting team enters its fourth meeting of 2018. Albany holds a 2-1 edge in the season series, as the road team has won every game. All three games thus far this season have seen the game decided by four or fewer runs. A second-year Dutchmen pitcher, Dylan D'Anna (Siena) will make his first start for the Dutchmen. Glens Falls will counter with Julien Arcos (LIU Post), who is making his second start.
Watertown Rapids at Saugerties Stallions

Despite sitting in last place in the PGCBL East, Saugerties has won three games in a row and are just two games behind first place Albany. Watertown, on the other hand, currently leads the PGCBL Central, but has seen their lead drop to one game after two consecutive losses. Noah Stone (Arkansas State), who is averaging nearly one strikeout per inning, will make his fourth start of the season for the Stallions, who will try to win their fourth straight game.
Jamestown Jammers at Elmira Pioneers
Dunn Field - 7:05 PM
The biggest divisional lead in the PGCBL has grown to 6.5 games for the Jamestown Jammers, who head to Dunn Field for a meeting with the 6-12 Elmira Pioneers. The Jammers hold a 3-1 series lead thus far in 2018, and the home team is undefeated. David Lyskawa (UMBC), who has allowed just one earned run over 14.1 innings and holds a 2-0 record, will be tasked with the start for the Jammers, who have lost just one home game this season.
Newark Pilots at Geneva Red Wings

Through three weeks of the 2018 season, the chase for the second playoff spot in the PGCBL West sees three teams seperated by jusy 1.5 games. The Newark Pilots will look to close the gap on the Geneva Red Wings to just half a game at McDonough Park. Newark has won two of three contests between the teams this season, with both wins coming at home. The series is scheduled to be played a total of 12 times during the 2018 season.
