A full slate of six games is scheduled for the first Sunday of the PGCBL season, as five of the league's 13 teams look to extend their undefeated starts to the season.

Geneva Red Wings at Jamestown Jammers
One of two 2-0 teams in the PGCBL, the Geneva Red Wings, head to Jamestown for a matchup with the 1-1 Jammers. The Red Wings have outscored their competition by a 17-4 margin in the first two games of the season. Last season, the top two teams in the PGCBL West Division met ten times, with each team winning five games.
Elmira Pioneers at Newark Pilots
After their scheduled Opening Night tilt was postponed, the Pioneers and the Pilots will take another crack at playing for the first time this season. The two teams went seperate ways on the second night, with the Pioneers defeating the Jamestown Jammers and the Pilots falling to Mohawk Valley. The Pioneers won the season series 6-2 in 2017.
Oneonta Outlaws at Albany Dutchmen
For the second consecutive night, the Dutchmen and the Outlaws meet on the campus of Siena College in Albany. On Saturday evening, the Dutchmen scored seven unanswered runs in the fourth and fifth innings to roll to a 12-5 victory. The East Division rivals play three times in the first seven games of the season, with the Dutchmen finally making a trip to Oneonta on June 9.
Watertown Rapids at Utica Blue Sox
The PGCBL newest franchise has also been one of its best in the Opening Weekend, as the Rapids have rolled to a 2-0 start. Sunday's game marks a rematch from Saturday, with the site moving to Utica. The Rapids' 5-0 victory was keyed by League Pitcher of the Night Robbie Frongello, who tossed eight shutout innings en route to the second win in a row.
Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs at Adirondack Trail Blazers
Mohawk Valley and Adirondack will jostle for early positioning in the Central Division in the first meeting of the season between the teams. Mohawk Valley got back in the win column on Saturday with a win over Newark, while Adirondack was shut out by Geneva. During Mohawk Valley's 2017 PGCBL Championship season, the DiamondDawgs took six of eight games from the Trail Blazers.
Saugerties Stallions at Glens Falls Dragons
The Glens Falls Dragons had the night off on Saturday, and sit tied with Albany at 1-0 utop the East Division. Sunday marks the first meeting of the season between the divisional rivals. Saugerties won the season series 6-4 en route to the playoffs in the 2017 season.
