Today is the second day of the postseason.
Last Night’s Games:
Utica 3 Jamestown 1
Despite a lengthy rain delay, the Utica Blue Sox advanced to the West Division Championship Series with a 3-1 win over the Jamestown Jammers at home.
After Jamestown took a 1-0 lead in the top of the seventh on a CJ Pickering solo home run, the Blue Sox took the lead on a Mason Fessler two-run single and a Jared Baldinelli RBI single. Then a rain delay of more than two hours brought the game to a halt.
Kevin Woebke allowed just the one run in eight innings of work to earn the win for Utica as Ryan Green notched the save. Nick Wegmann took the loss for Jamestown.
Oneonta at Amsterdam
The game was postponed to Tuesday night.
Elmira 5 Newark 2
The Elmira Pioneers advanced the the West Division Championship Series with a 5-2 win over the Newark Pilots at Dunn Field.
In the winner-take-all elimination game, the No. 1 seed Pioneers fell behind in the second inning on a groundout. The Pioneers took the lead for good in the sixth on an error and a Phil Madonna two-run single. Elmira extended the lead in the seventh on a wild pitch and a Brian Kelly RBI double. Newark got a run back in the eighth on a Sam Fragale RBI double.
Stephen Arnsten picked up the win for the Pioneers as Parker Caracci notched the save. Solomon Bates took the loss for Newark.
Mohawk Valley at Albany
The game was postponed to Tuesday night.

Playoffs:
The higher seed in each divisional championship round hosts games one and three while the lower seed hosts game two. The winners of the best-of-three league championship series will meet in the PGCBL Championship Series.
In the PGCBL Championship Series, the lower seed—based on regular season record—will host game one, while the higher seed will host games two and three.
