The Mohawks scored five runs in the eighth on a sacrifice fly, an error and RBI singles from both Frank and Givin. Glens Falls responded with four runs in the home half of the inning before each team scored two in the ninth to conclude the scoring.

The Elmira Pioneers won their seventh straight game with a 3-1 win over the Geneva Red Wings, 3-1, at Dunn Field.

Geneva scored the first run of the game in the second but Elmira responded in the third with two runs, one on an error and another on a Rob Perteet RBI single. The final run of the game came in the fifth om an error.
