Last Night’s Games:

Adirondack 2 Victor 1

It took 11 innings but the Adirondack Trail Blazers walked off against the Victor RailRiders in Boonville.

In the bottom of the eleventh, Chris Collins singled home Mitchell Schneider with one out to give the Trail Blazers the win.

Runs were few and far between during Tuesday’s matchup as the only other runs in the game came in the sixth when Victor scored on a Nick Russo RBI single and in the eighth when Adirondack tied the game at one on a wild pitch.

Pat Geraghty tossed three innings of scoreless relief for the Trail Blazers to earn the win. Jake Casey gave up the walk-off run to take the loss for Victor.

Oneonta at Albany

The game was postponed and will be made up as part of a July 29 doubleheader in Albany. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Amsterdam 3 Saugerties 2

After starting the season 0-3, the Amsterdam Mohawks have won back-to-back games, with the latest coming via walk off fashion Tuesday night at Shuttleworth Park.

Eric Downey scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the tenth inning to break a 2-2 tie and give Amsterdam its second straight win.

The first run of the game didn’t come until the fifth inning when Kyle Sacks scored on an Andrew Rouse RBI single. The Mohawks scored another in the sixth on a Nick Patten RBI single to extend the lead to 2-0. But a Micah Riddick two-RBI single in the top of the eighth tied the game and ultimately forced extra innings.

Tim Naughton pitched two scoreless innings of relief — striking out four in the process — to get the win for Amsterdam. Matthew Jones gave up the walk off run in taking the loss for Saugerties.

Jamestown 14 Geneva 0

Highlighted by a seven-run eighth inning, the Jamestown Jammers won their second game in a row, beating Geneva on the road.

In the big eighth inning, Chas Hadden hit an RBI single, Ben Brookover hit a three-run double, a fielder’s choice plated a run and Alex O’Donnell hit an RBI single. The Jammers for the scoring started early, plating two in the first innings, including one on a Brookover RBI single. An error in the fourth and an RBI groundout in the fifth accounted for two more runs. Then in the sixth, Clay Payne capped off a three-run inning with an RBI double.

Dylan King tossed five shutout innings to earn the win for Jamestown. Conor Russell took the loss for Geneva.

Utica 14 Glens Falls 2

The Utica Blue Sox scored three or more runs in four separate innings to beat the Glens Falls Dragons, 14-2, in a commanding road win.

The first three-run inning came in the second on a Franklin Jennings RBI single and a two-run error. The Blue Sox followed that up in the third with a four-run frame, thanks in part to an error and a Dylan Hutcheson RBI double. In the sixth, wild pitches scored two runs and another Glens Falls error plated another. Jennings hit another RBI single in the eighth, Jack Goertzen hit a two-RBI double and a wild pitch scored the final run of the game for Utica.

Glens Falls scored lone runs on groundouts in the first and eighth innings.

Stevie Yuran struck out five and allowed just three hits in seven innings of one-run ball to earn the win for Utica while Jeremy Norris gave up the first seven runs of the game for Glens Falls in taking the loss.
